VFNH examples of the £1.45 booklet from the British Countryside Series and the £1.43 booklet from the Holiday Postcard Series, each containing a pane of 10 Machins, consisting of 10 16p stamps on the British Countryside booklet and 6 15.5p and 4 12.5p stamps on the other booklet. The selvedge is at the right for both booklets. The selvedge tabs all contain a single extension perf hole, cutting guidemarks and the Holiday Postcard booklet design tab has a split arrow marking at the top. This pane is tagged with two phosphor bands, but in such a way that all 15.5p values have two bands and all 12.5p stamps have only one band at either left or right. The 16p stamps are on phosphorized paper. All have PVAD gum. The booklets have HF covers and HB/MF panes.
