Lot 323 Canada #424i, 424iii 5c Lady's Slipper, 1964-1966 Emblems Issue, A VFNH Plate 1 UR Sheet Of 50 On LF Flecked Vertically Ribbed Paper, Smooth Dex Gum, Showing Green Dot To Left Of Flower (Pos. 13) & Green Leaf Pollen Variety (Pos. 37), Tertiary

A VFNH plate 1 UR sheet of 50 of the 5c violet, green & deep rose Lady's Slipper from the 1964-1966 Emblems Issue on LF flecked vertically ribbed paper, smooth dex gum, showing green dot to left of flower (pos. 13) & green leaf pollen variety (pos. 37), tertiary. The green dot variety is quite spectacular, in that it is readily visible without a loupe. It is tertiary, as I have offered it once before in the past.

Unitrade values this at $105 for the sheet on LF flecked paper, with just the green leaf pollen variety. Our estimate of the value with both varieties is $125. The sheet offered here grades 75 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 45/70

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10
