Lot 303 - Three Red Boxes Of Mint & Used South America

Three red boxes of 102 card-like sleeves containing mint and used stamps of South America as shown in the video. Predominantly used with a small amount of mint hinged and mint NH. The strongest countries here are Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. There are some Seebecks for El Salvador, Nicaragua, Ecuador and the like, which are likely reprints. Then  there is the usual mint and used ranges for the 1920's to 1950's, with most material after that being used, and mostly ending in the 70's or 80's.  

Approximately 6,000 stamps, or more, based on a conservative estimate of 3,000 cards, and 2 stamps per card. Some only have one, but others have 3 or 4, so it should average out. At 25c cat minimum, it catalogues about $1,500. Our estimate at 10% of catalogue is $150.
