Kennedy Issue, paying 8/9d postage, being the quadruple airmail rate plus registration fee of 9d. The stamps are tied by unclear strikes of an unlisted type of Ugheli oval registry cancel (4 GBP on cover in Proud). Backstamped with an unlisted type of Lagos oval registry cancel for sub post office #7, dated July 29, 1961.Very fine.

The cancellations list in Proud for 4 GBP and the cover value to a common destination is approximately $6 applying Gibbons’ prescribed multiplier of 2 to the Scott value of $2.75 for the stamps off cover.
