Lot 284A Canada #123-124 1c-2c Blue Green & Rose Carmine King George V, 1911-1928 Admiral Issue, 2 Fine Used Singles, Scarce Perf. 8 Horizontal Coil Singles

2 fine used singles of the 1c-2c blue green & rose carmine King George V from the 1911-1928 Admiral Issue. Scarce perf. 8 horizontal coil singles. These coils are widely faked, so care must be excercised when buying them. Most of the fakes are the wrong colour: usually dark green and deep rose red to carmie red. The genuine coils will almost always be blue green for the 1c and rose carmine on the 2c. These examples are the correct colours, and so we are sure they are genuine.
