The 1886-1900 Small Hermes Heads were printed first in Belguim and then in Athens. The Belgian printings are very fine, with all shading lines being very clear, while the Athen's printings are generally rougher, though some can be quite close to the quality of the Brusses printings. The Athens printings can be found on many different types of paper, both watermarked and unwatermarked.
