Lot 277 Canada #104/135 1c, 2c, 3c, 4c, 5c, 10c Dark Green - Bistre Brown King George V, 1911-1928 Admiral Issue, 22 VF Used Singles, 1 Top Sheet Margin Inscription Block & 2 Pairs, All With SON CDS Town Cancels, Numeral Duplexes & Fancy Cork!

22 VF used singles, 1 top sheet margin inscription block & 2 pairs of the 1c, 2c, 3c, 4c, 5c, 10c dark green - bistre brown King George V from the 1911-1928 Admiral Issue. All with SON CDS town cancels, numeral duplexes & fancy cork!. Mostly different towns, with some light duplication of the 150 Mile House cancels. However, the shades are different in this case. The 1c yellow single and pair are both the scarcer die 1 dry printing. All the MR4's are the more common die 2. The 4c is the yellow ochre dry printing and the 10c is the blue wet printing. The 5c has a nice #8 numeral strike and there is a 2c deep rose red with jumbo margins that has a very seldom seen cork cancel. Corks had basically completely fallen out of use by now, so seeing one on an admiral, especially this nice is a real treat.

Unitrade values this at $31. The stamps offered here grade 75-82 as follows:
