A VF used single of the 15c red orange Champlain's Departure from the 1908 Quebec Tercentenary Issue. lovely margins, colour and centering. Only 300,000 of these were ever printed, which for an issue of this period is extremely small. A lot have centering, reperforation, regumming, fading and other issues, or they are cancelled with modern poshumous cancels as a way to convert no gum stamps to VF used. This one has a partial duplex cancel that is contemporary, is near perfectly centered, amoung larger than normal margins and has deep rich colour. Destined for the finest Canada used collection.
