A Very Good Used example of the 10/- gray & purple from the 1903-1904 King Edward VII Keyplates Issue, on yellowish pape, Crown CA Wmk. 11040 of these were printed. Heavy cancel, some fading of the color & diagonal vertical crease, still a scarce stamp. There were 4 printings of this set, July 1902 - All values except 2.5d, Feb 1903 - 1/2d & 1d, January 1904 - 2.5d & November 1904 - 10/-. All values other than the 1/2d, 1d & 10/- have only 1 printing, but many show some shade variations, 2017 Gibbons Cat £150. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $37.
