7 Very Fine Used singles of the King Edward VII from the 1910-1911 Imperium Keyplates Issue In "Universal Colours" With Multiple Crown CA Wmk both printings of each 5d, 6d & 1/- plus an extra shade of the 5d and both base. Includes both basic listed printings of the 6d. Just 61,080 of the 6d purple & purple were issued. 5d dull purple & apple green, 6 dull purple & purple, 6d pale dull purple & red violet, 1/- grey & black on blue green and deep grey & black on blue green.
This issue was on ordinary paper for values up to 2 1/2d, and chalky paper for values 3d and above.There were five printings made in October 1908(1d&1/2d), April 1910 (1/2d&1d), October 1910 (remaining values except 3d and 5/-), July 5, 1911 (all values) and finally October 1911 (3d,6d and 5/-)
