A VFOG example of the 1/2c black Queen Victoria from the 1897 Diamond Jubilee Issue, printed in the jet black shade on white paper, and showing a dot and a vertical line inside the "R". This guideline is sometimes found extending through the crown and into the top margin as well, but on this example it is only visible in the "R". A nice example of this plate scratch.
