This was the first of the modern commemorative issues to not be printed in the usual pane layour of 4 or 6 panes and to contain constant varieties, which are not on every sheet. The listed pine cone seed variety is only found on one of the sheets in the print setup and is indeed rare. However, there are a few similar varieties that are not listed. Paper is smooth and unsurfaced and is generally NF, with a greyish or violet tone under UV. However, flecked paper, containing small numbers of fluorescent fibres can be found also. I have done my best to capture these differences by taking pictures with my camera under UV light, but the differences can be harder to see than in real life. That should be borne in mind if you are looking at the scans and cannot tell the difference between them.
