A group of 9 Rosecraft FDC's franked with singles. Generally all VF. The paper fluorescence of the stamps include the Rutherford stamp on better F/HB paper, and the Papineau stamp having a weak kiss print doubling of Canada. Chung/Narbonne catalogue value is $31.
A note about how we calculated Dickinson Catalogue values in conjunction with Unitrade. Dickinson does not list paper varieties on FDC's, nor do they price anything other than a single. FDC's are typically regarded as being similar to mint stamps in the sense that if they are unaddressed, they are still valid for postage. So, that is why the FDC price in Unitrade is typically slightly more than a mint single. That being the case, what we have done where we have a better paper variety on an FDC is we have taken the Dickinson catalogue value and added the mint value of the paper variety to the FDC price. If there is a pair or a block, we have added the Unitrade value of the extra stamps to the Dickinson cover price.
