Canada #E5 (SG#S7) 20c Brownish Vermilion 1932-35 Medallion Issue Brown Cream Gum VF-84 OG

A very well centered and very fine mint OG single of the 20c brownish vermilion special delivery stamp from the 1932-35 Medallion Issue. Horizontal wove paper with no visible mesh and brownish cream gum with a satin sheen, suggesting that it is from a printing made sometime between 1933-1934. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $100. Undercatalogued, as only 600,000 were issued between 1932 and 1935. In addition, examples this well centered are scarce, and worth more than the Unitrade price for VF. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 OG as follows:

Margins/centering: 54/70

Paper freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10

Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. We currently have two stamps in stock in this shade and grade. You will receive one of the above stamps of your choice.
