Canada #917-917i 1c Multicoloured Decoy, 1982-1987 Artifacts and National Parks Issue, 9 VFNH Inscription Blocks on Different Abitibi Papers

A group of 9 very fine NH inscription blocks of the 1c decoy stamp from the 1982-1987 Artifacts and National Parks Issue, all printed on Abitibi papers displaying different levels of fluorescence as follows:

• UL and LL on NF/NF-fl paper with very few LF & MF fibres.
• LR on DF/DF-fl paper with very few LF fibres.
• UL, LL, LR on NF-fl/DF-fl paper with a medium density concentration of low fluorescent fibres, a low density concentration of medium fluorescent fibres and a sparse concentration of high fluorescent fibres.
• UL, LL, LR on NF-fl/DF-fl paper with a medium density concentration of low fluorescent fibres and a low density concentration of medium fluorescent fibres.

Although Unitrade makes no mention of it, many stamps of this issue can be found perforated with both large and small holes. All the blocks in this set are the normal small size.

Unitrade values these blocks at $11.25. The blocks offered here grade between 80 and 84 as follows:
