A well centered and very fine mint OG example of the 1c myrtle green (green in Unitrade) Admiral war tax stamp from the 1911-1928 Admiral issue. Printed on white vertical wove paper measuring 0.004" thick with coarse vertical mesh. The gum is a smooth, shiny cream, characteristic of the wartime wet printings made before 1917. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG example at $35. The stamp offered here grades 80 as follows:
