Canada #J28i (SG#D32a)var 1c Lt Carmine Red 1973 Centennial Postage Due DF LR Block VF-80 NH

A well centered and very fine mint NH lower right inscription block of 4 of the 1c light carmine red postage due stamp from the 1973-1977 Third Centennial Postage Due Issue. Vertical wove paper with no ribbing on the gummed side and white PVA gum with a satin sheen. Under long-wave ultra violet light the paper gives a dull fluorescent, greyish white reaction, with very, very few low, and medium fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH block at $10. The block offered here grades VF-80 NH as follows: Margins/centering: 50/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
