Canada #F2 (SG#R6) 5c Dark Green 1875-88 Registered Thick Paper VG-60 Used

A very good used example of the second Ottawa printing of the 5c dark green registered stamp. Dark green colour, and soft vertical wove paper measuring 0.0035" thick, that shows no visible mesh pattern. This is a full 0.001" thicker than the paper normally found on the Ottawa printings, which is usually 0.0025" thick. Perf. 12.1 x 12.1, which is characteristic of the early second Ottawa printings.
