As noted in Unitrade, these booklets were an experiment in Toronto TTC stations to test the reaction of the public to 50c booklets. Consequently the quantity produced and sold was very limited. According to Mccann, some 10,000 of the large sticker type were produced and 8,000 of the small sticker. It should be noted that these totals include both type 1 and type 2 covers, as well as the slate/bottle green and emerald green panes, and the LF/LF and MF/LF panes, so that the actual quantity of each subtype that was issued was actually much, much lower than 10,000 or 8,000 respectively. These are some of the most undervalued booklets from the issue.
