A well centered and very fine NH example the $1 Centennial Issue integral booklet containing 1 pane of 20 5c stamps, with blue on cream cover, and fine font printing on the back cover.
  • The cover is printed on semi-smooth card stock.
  • The cover gives a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under UV light, with no fluorescent fibres visible in the stock.
  • The font of the printed messages on the back cover is the fine type.
  • The pane is printed on horizontal wove cream paper with smooth cream coloured dextrose gum that has a semi-gloss sheen.
  • The pane gives a dull fluorescent greyish white reaction under UV light, with very few medium fluorescent fibres, and very few high fluorescent fibres visible in the paper.
  • In normal light and under UV light, the colour of the stamps is deep blue.
  • The comparison scan shows the different shades of blue in which the cover can be found on these booklets: pale blue, dark blue and blue.
Unitrade values a VF-75 NH booklet with the regular DF cover at $10.50, and does not list the booklet with fluorescent fibres. McCann lists this booklet as BK58g and values it at $12. The booklet offered here grades 80 as follows:
  • Centering of the panes: 50/70
  • Cover freshness: 10/10
  • Condition of cover edges: 5/5
  • Freshness of panes: 5/5
  • Absence of visible cover flaws/stains: 5/5
  • Condition of interleaving and contents: 5/5

Note: the above scans are a stock photos as are all my scans for material after 1952. The booklet you will receive has been carefully checked to adhere to the above grading standards, so while it (they) may not be exactly the same, it (they) will be of the same quality. Also, I do not provide back scans of NH stamps or blocks after 1952 unless they are required to illustrate some attribute of the paper or gum.
