The quantity of BK52 issued is unknown according to McCann. It was issued with 12mm staple size only. There were four types of the trapezoidal design covers: three that have the design 62-63 mm wide and one which has the design 65mm wide, as well as the Centennial cover. Of the three narrower trapezoidal designs, the differences lie in what appears in the text on the inside cover. Type 1 is rubber stamped "Local Letters 4c". Type II has the actual local 4c first ounce rate incorporated into the text and type 3 is the same but also includes the slogan "Give stamps to shut ins". Within these two main types, two types of paper: DF and LF-fl. Any fluorescent pane is scarce.
