The quantity of BK51 issued is unknown according to McCann. It was issued with 12mm 14mm and 16 mm staple sizes, as well as two types of the trapezoidal design covers: one which reads on the back "Use Your Post Office Savings Bank", and a second, which reads "Postal Zoning Speeds Delivery". Within these two main types, a number of different paper types can be found with the earlier 16 mm staple printings existing on both smooth and ribbed DF paper. Later booklets with 12 mm staples are generally only found with smooth paper, and it is almost always DF. Any fluorescent pane is scarce, as is any pane with visible remnants of the T-shaped cutting guideline.
