A fresh and very fine complete booklet containing 1 pane of 6 of the 4c bluish violet Queen Elizabeth II stamp from the 1954 Wilding Issue. Harris type IIIf front cover, and type Mi back cover, giving a dull-fluorescent light violet reaction to ultraviolet light on the front and a dull fluorescent light violet reaction on the back. The cover has a 16 mm staple. The pane is printed on horizontal wove paper with visible ribbing on both front and back, giving a dull-fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light. The pane has shiny, smooth yellowish cream coloured gum. In addition there is a constant plate variety on the back cover consisting of damage to the upper left border of the back text box. I have seen this same variety now on several booklets, so I know it is constant. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH booklet at $4.50. The booklet offered here grades 75 as follows:

Centering of the panes: 45/70

Cover freshness: 10/10

Condition of cover edges: 5/5

Freshness of panes: 5/5

Absence of visible cover flaws/stains: 5/5

Condition of interleaving and contents: 5/5

Note: the above scan is a stock photo as are all my scans for material after 1952. The item(s) you will receive has (have) been carefully checked to adhere to the above grading standards, so while it (they) may not be exactly the same, it (they) will be of the same quality. Also, I do not provide back scans of NH stamps or blocks after 1952 unless they are required to illustrate some attribute of the paper of gum.
