Canada #71 (SG#147) 6c Brown 1897-1898 Maple Leaf Issue on Vertical Wove Paper VF-84 LH

A very well centered and post office fresh mint example, with the lightest trace of a hinge mark, beautiful fresh colour and large margins. Only 500,000 were issued in 1897. Vertical wove paper measuring 0.004" thick (the common paper for this value). Unitrade values a VF-75 OG example at $200. The stamp offered here grades 84 as follows:
