Canada #604ix (SG#710) 8c Royal Blue Queen Elizabeth II 1972-1978 Caricature Issue Coil Unservered Block MF Paper Type 1 F-70 NH

A fine NH unsevered block of 4 of the 8c royal blue Queen Elizabeth II coil stamp from the 1973-1977 Caricature Issue, showing a faint trace of the horizontal score line separting the block into pairs, and from the end of the coil roll. Printed on horizontal wove paper with no ribbing. The paper gives a dull fluorescent blue grey reaction under ultraviolet light on the front and back, with low density concentrations of low and medium fluorescent fibres, visible in the paper. General OP-2 Ottawa tagging, 4 mm wide, of weak strength (almost invisible to the naked eye), and glowing a bright yellow under ultraviolet light. Perforated 10.0 vertically. Smooth, cream PVA gum with a satin sheen. Unitrade lists 604ix as MF paper. I have found three different variations of the MF paper, of which this is one. Unitrade values four F-65 NH singles on the basic MF paper at $6.00 and a block without the score line proportionately at $150. A fair price for a block like this would be $10.
