Three very fine NH singles of the 5c lilac Richard Bennett stamp from the 1973-1977 Caricature Issue, each printed on a different LF paper. General OP-2 Ottawa tagging, 4 mm wide, of moderate strength (clearly visible to the naked eye, but not dark) and light strength (barely visible to the naked eye) and glowing a bright yellow under ultraviolet light. The paper gives different reactions under UV light as follows:

  • Dull fluorescent bluish reaction with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres and a sparse concentration of medium fluorescent fibres. Tagging is of light strength.
  • Dull fluorescent blue grey reaction on the front, and a dull fluorescent bluish white reaction on the back, with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. Tagging is of light strength.
  • Low fluorescent blue grey reaction with a sparse concentration of low fluorescent fibres, and a very sparse concentration of medium fluorescent and high fluorescent fibres. Tagging is of moderate strength.

Comb perforated 12.0 x 12.5. Unitrade values three VF-75 NH singles at $0.75.
