Two well centered and very fine NH singles of the 4c black William Lyon Mackenzie King stamp from the 1973-1977 Caricature Issue, each printed on a different paper. General OP-2 Ottawa tagging, 4 mm wide, of light strength (barely visible to the naked eye), and moderate strength (clearly visible to the naked eye, but not dark) and glowing a bright yellow under ultraviolet light. The paper gives different reactions under UV light as follows:

  • Dull fluorescent bluish white, with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres and a very sparse concentration of medium fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. Tagging is of moderate strength.
  • Dull fluorescent grey blue, with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres, a sparse concentration of medium fluorescent fibres, a very sparse concentration of high fluorescent fibres and very few brownish woodpulp fibres visible in the paper. Tagging is of light strength.

Comb perforated 12.0 x 12.5. Unitrade values two VF-75 NH singles blocks at $0.50. The stamps offered here grade 80 as follows:
