Three fine NH singles of the 2c green Sir Wilfred Laurier stamp from the 1973-1977 Caricature Issue, each printed on slightly different papers. Printed on vertical wove paper showing no ribbing on the front. General OP-2 Ottawa tagging, 4 mm wide, of moderate strength (clearly visible to the naked eye, but not dark) and glowing a bright yellow under ultraviolet light. The paper gives slightly different reactions under UV light as follows:
- a dull fluorescent greyish white reaction under ultraviolet light on the face and the back, with a sparse concentration of low fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. The tagging is of moderate strength.
- a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light on the face and back, with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres, and very few medium fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. The tagging is of moderate strength.
- a dull fluorescent greyish reaction on the face, and a dull fluorescent greyish white reaction on the back, with a very sparse concentration of low fluorescent fibres and a very sparse concentration of brownish woodpulp fibres visible in the paper. The paper is also a brownish rose colour. The tagging is of moderate strength.
