Canada #587, I, vi, ix (SG#694) 2c Green Laurier 1972-1978 Caricature Issue 5 Different Papers F-70 NH
Five fine NH singles of the 2c green Sir Wilfred Laurier stamp from the 1973-1977 Caricature Issue, each printed on slightly different papers or with tagging of different intensities. Printed on vertical wove paper showing no ribbing on either the front, or the back. General OP-2 Ottawa tagging, 4 mm wide, of both moderate strength (clearly visible to the naked eye, but not dark) and light strength (barely visible to the naked eye) and glowing a bright yellow under ultraviolet light. The paper gives slightly different reactions under UV light as follows:
- a low fluorescent bluish white reaction on the front and back, with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. The tagging is of moderate strength.
- a low fluorescent bluish white reaction on the face and the back, with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres, and very few high fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. The tagging is of light strength.
- a non-fluorescent greyish reaction on the front and back. The tagging is of moderate strength.
- a high fluorescent bluish white reaction on the face and the back, with a low density concentration of medium fluorescent fibres, and a sparse concentration of high fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. The tagging is of moderate strength.
- a low fluorescent bluish grey reaction on the face, and a low fluorescent bluish reaction on the back, with a low density concentration of low fluorescent fibres, a sparse concentration of medium fluorescent fibres, and very few high fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. The tagging is of light strength.
