Canada #475i (SG#617) 5c 1967 Toronto Centenary Blank UR F Paper & Gum Type 4 VF-80 NH

A well centered and very fine mint NH blank upper right field stock block of four, from either the lower left pane, or the lower centre pane, of the 5c myrtle green and pale rose red 1967 Toronto Centennial Issue. Line perf. 11.95 x 11.95. Translucent horizontal wove paper with highly visible vertical mesh, and no ribbing. Smooth creamy DEX gum with a semi-gloss sheen. Under ultraviolet light, the paper gives a low fluorescent bluish white reaction, with a very sparse concentration of low and medium fluorescent fibres being visible in the paper. This is one of the variations of the fluorescent paper that I have encountered on this issue. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH block at $4.00. The block offered here grades VF-80 NH as follows: Margins/centering: 50/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
