Canada #473i (SG#615) 5c 1967 Canadian Press Issue LF-fl GW LF, MF Paper, Blank UL Smooth Gum VF-75 NH

A very fine mint NH upper left blank field stock block, from the upper right pane, of the 5c violet blue 1967 Canadian Press Issue. Line perf. 11.85 x 11.95. Vertical wove paper with light vertical ribbing that is just visible on the gum, and clear vertical mesh. Smooth cream DEX gum with a satin sheen. Under ultraviolet light, the paper gives a low fluorescent greyish white reaction, with very sparse concentrations of low and medium fluorescent fibres being visible in the paper. Unitrade values a VF-75 block at $5.00. The block offered here grades VF-75 NH as follows: Margins/centering: 45/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard.
