Canada #432 (SG#558) 1964 5c Quebec Conference Issue Rose Craft First Day Cover XF-91

An extremely fine example of the 5c dark brown and salmon 1964 Quebec Conference Issue First Day Cover. Black Rose Craft cachet depicting the Quebec parliament buildings and the fathers of Confederation. The envelope is on hibrite paper stock, while the stamp is printed on paper giving a dull fluorescent greyish white reaction under ultraviolet light. The stamp is tied by a crisp strike of an Ottawa wavy line first day cancel. The cover offered here grades XF-91 as follows:
