Canada #431 (SG#557) 1964 5c Charlottetown Conference Rose Craft First Day Cover XF-91

An extremely fine example of the 5c grey black 1964 Charlottetown Conference Issue First Day Cover. Black Rose Craft cachet depicting the Confederation Chamber and the Fathers of Confederation. The envelope is on hibrite paper stock, while the stamp is printed on paper giving a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light. The stamp is tied by a crisp strike of an Ottawa wavy line first day cancel. The cover offered here grades XF-91 as follows:
