An extremely fine example of the 5c olive, yellow, and green Northwest Territories Mountain Avens stamp from the 1964-1966 Provincial Emblems Issue First Day Cover. Black and white Art Craft cachet depicting a map of Canada and Queen Elizabeth II. The envelope is on stock giving a dull fluorescent light violet reaction, with a low density concentration of medium fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. The stamp is printed on paper giving a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light. The stamp is tied by a crisp strike of an Ottawa wavy line first day cancel. The cover offered here grades XF-91 as follows:
