Canada #417 (SG#542) 1964 5c Provincial Emblems Issue Rose Craft First Day Cover VF-84

A very fine example of the 5c light blue and carmine lake maple leaves stamp from the 1964-1966 Provincial Emblems Issue First Day Cover. Black Rose Craft cachet depicting map of Canada and concepts of unity. The envelope is on highbrite stock, while the stamp is printed on paper giving a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light. The stamp is tied by a crisp strike of an Ottawa wavy line first day cancel. The cover offered here grades VF-84 as follows:
