Canada #402-3 (SG#528-529) 1963 2c-3c Cameo Issue Rose Craft First Day Cover XF-85

An extremely fine example of the 2c deep green + 3c purple 1963 Cameo Issue combination First Day Cover. Lilac Rose Craft value-specific Queen Elizabeth II cachet normally used for definitive stamps. The envelope is on highbrite stock, while the stamps are printed on paper giving a dull fluorescent greyish reaction under ultraviolet light. The stamps are tied by a crisp strike of an Ottawa straight line first day cancel. The cover offered here grades XF-85 as follows:
