50c double weight registered airmail cover to Prague, Czechoslovakia sent from Abbotsford BC on September 1, 1961. Franked with a single of the 15c Gannet and 20c paper industry Wilding definitives, plus a pair & single of the 1961 Columbo Plan commemorative (issued June 28, 1961) paying the double weight registered 50c preferential airmail rate to Europe. The stamps are tied by multiple strikes of a September 1, 1961 Abbotsford CDS. A lovely mixed franking of this scarcer rate. The cover offered here grades XF-85 as follows:
