Canada #340 (SG#466) 4c Deep Violet 1954 Wilding Issue Plate 12n LL DF GW Smooth Paper F-70 NH
A well centered and fine NH example of the 4c deep violet Queen Elizabeth II stamp from the 1954-63 Wilding Issue, in a plate 12n lower left (LL) block of 4. Printed on horizontal wove paper showing mesh only when held up to the light and giving a dull fluorescent greyish white reaction under ultraviolet light. Smooth, satin yellowish gum, similar to that found on many of the 1957 and 1958 commemorative issues. Unitrade values a VF-75 NH block at $6. The block offered here grades 70 as follows:
