Canada #339p (SG#465p) 3c Carmine 1954 Wilding Issue W2B 2 Different Papers VF-75 NH
Two very fine NH examples of the 3c carmine Winnipeg Tagged Queen Elizabeth II stamps from the 1954 Wilding Issue. The stamps are printed on horizontal wove paper showing ribbing only on the gum and giving two different reactions under ultraviolet light as follows:
- Dull fluorescent greyish
- Dull fluorescent greyish white
The tagging is lightly applied, being almost invisible to the naked eye. Smooth and shiny cream coloured gum. Unitrade values VF-75 NH singles at $3.50. The stamps offered here grade 75 as follows:
Centering/margins: 45/70
Paper freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 10/10
