A very well centered and very fine OG single of the 10c deep olive Sir Georges Etienne Cartier stamp from the 1930-1935 Arch Issue. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and deep cream gum with a glossy sheen. These characteristics suggest that it comes from a printing made between 1932 and 1933. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $20. However, examples this well entered are seldom encountered, and our price reflects the scarcity of this stamp in such premium condition. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 OG as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. We currently have two examples in stock in this shade and grade. You will receive one of the above stamps of your choice. .
