A very well centered and very fine OG single of the 10c deep grey olive Sir Georges Etienne Cartier stamp from the 1930-1935 Arch Issue. Vertical wove paper with no visible mesh and deep cream gum with a semi-gloss sheen. These characteristics suggest that it comes from a printing made between 1933 and 1934. Unitrade values a VF-75 OG single at $20. However, examples this well entered are seldom encountered, and our price reflects the scarcity of this stamp in such premium condition. The stamp offered here grades VF-84 OG as follows: Margins/centering: 54/70 Paper freshness: 5/5 Colour: 5/5 Impression: 5/5 Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5 Perforations: 10/10 Note any vertical or horizontal line shown in the scan is the edge of the acetate strip that the stamp was resting inside on the stockcard. .
