Canada #1490 (SG#MS1563) $3.56 1993 Historic Vehicles Souvenir Sheet NF/DF GR Paper VF-80 NH

A well centered and very fine NH example of the $3.56 multicolured 1993 Historic Land Vehicles souvenir sheet. Printed on Coated Papers (CPP) paper giving a non fluorescent violet reaction under ultraviolet light, on the face, and a dull fluorescent greyish reaction on the back, with no fluorescent fibres. This is not the standard paper on which this sheet is found. Normally, this sheet is on paper giving a dull fluorescent light violet reaction on the face, and a dull fluorescent bluish white reaction on the back, with no fluorescent fibres visible in the paper. Smooth greenish PVA gum with a satin sheen. 2017 Unitrade values a VF-75 NH sheet on the normal DF/DF paper at $10. This sheet should be worth a premium, given the scarcity of this paper type.
