Collection: Current Weekly Auction - Closing Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at 11:30 pm Atlantic Time
Welcome to our weekly unreserved auction! This week we offer the remainder of the post-1970 MNH material from the "V, Y & Z" countries, including Vatican City, Venezuela, Yugoslavia, Zaire, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Then we have an eclectic selection of modern mint and used Denmark and Iceland, from some left over stock we are in the process of tidying up. This brings us to the end of the 43 volume world collection purchased by us in November last year. We hope you have had as much fun viewing and bidding on the material as we did in lotting it.
We have one specialized theme this week. For Canada, we have our usual range of Canada from 1859 to the 1960's. Then we have an interesting and comprehensive offering of wildlife conservation issues and complete licences. We start with the Federal issues and then also have numerous provincial issues, in small sheetlets, and plate blocks, or in some cases, imperf sheetlets signed by the artists.
There are 543 lots this week. There is no lot 430 to lot 449, due to a numbering error I made when I was labelling the lots. I have also withdrawn lots 88, 89, 248, 264, 266 and 267 due to misdescription or cataloguing errors that resulted in them no longer being viable lots.
If you are new to the auction, please visit our FAQ page for a description of all the relevant terms and conditions. Please also note that all Canadian residents will be charged appropriate sales taxes based on where they reside.
