3 VFNH Booklets of 6 (2x3) of the 5 ore lilac, 25 ore blue & 75ore slate green, from the 1972 Historic Planes Issue. DF and NF covers, strong and short tagging. The cover fluorescence of this issue appears to vary from non-fluorescent (NF) to dull fluorescent (DF). There may be higher grades that exist, but all the booklets that I have examined fall within this range. The covers exist with spines that are perforated with clearly defined perfs or poorly defined ones. The tagging of panes is usually strong yellow, but can also be found with uneven tagging, or tagging that is solid in most of the pane, but stops short of the full pane edge, becoming much weaker where it terminates. The booklet exists with both 6 x 3.5mm and 8 x 2mm counting marks. In addition, the panes are printed from two different cylinders. According to Facit 4.58 million booklets were issued, divided between the two different cover roulettes and two cylinders. Generally, fewer than 5-10% of the booklets will contain markings in the tab. One booklet has a DF cover, good spine perfs and strong tagging. A second booklet has an NF cover, strong tagging and good spine perfs. The third booklet has an NF cover, good spine perfs and short tagging. 2014 Facit Cat Kr. 66. Our estimate of the value based on the condition is $12.
