SKU Lot97

A fine mint NH example of the 50c milky green spinning wheel stamp from the 1952-1967 Industry Definitive Issue, printed on the very rare high fluorescent paper.. As noted in Unitrade, the high fluorescent and hibrite papers on the issues from the 1950's is not as bright as it is later on the Centennial issue. But this stamp is only found on either NF, DF, or HF paper. There is a speckled fluorescent paper, which is really a DF paper with intermittent fluorescent fibres, but there isn't really anything else in between DF and HF. Unitrade values this at $100. The stamp offered here grades 70 as follows:

Centering/margins: 40/70
Paper freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5
Perforations: 10/10
