fine unused examples of the 5c green and blue green Queen Victoria stamp from the 1860-1867 Cents Issue. The green shade is printed on stout wove paper, and the blue green shade is printed on thinner, soft wove paper. Both stamps are perf. 12. No gum on either stamp, as is often the case with this issue, as the vast majority of mint examples got stuck together during the 1891 Saint John Custom House fire, where they were stored. Unitrade values these stamps in this grade at $30 for OG, so unused should be worth $15. The stamps offered here grade 65 as follows:

Centering/margins: 35/70
Paper freshness: 5/5
Colour: 5/5
Impression: 5/5
Absence of visible paper flaws: 5/5
