Canada #162/191 1930-1935 Arch Issue An Assortment of Fine NH Low Value Stamps Showing Different Shades and Gum Types
An intriguing array of 30 fine mint NH low value King George V portrait stamps from the issue showing the different die types and several unlisted shade and gum variations. Of all the sets issued in the 1930's I find this to be the most interesting and the most neglected. It is a tricky set because the vast majority of stamps found are very poorly centered, with fine and VG being the norm. So, the stamps offered here represent the average centering found on the issue, and all are post office fresh, grading from F-65 to mostly F-70. A nice start to a specialized collection of this issue. Unitrade values these stamps at $137.25 in this grade.
