SKU Lot 60 July 7, 2021

A VGNH ur corner pair of the 3c bright carmine-red Parliament Buildings from the 1927 60th Anniversary of Confederation Issue showing mark inside "T" of "Post" on upper stamp. Although not listed specifically by Unitrade, the stamps of this issue exist with two different gum types, as well as subtle shade variations of every value in the set. The gum types found are either a streaky cream gum with a semi-gloss sheen, or a similar type of gum without the streaks. This pair shows an interesting variety which consists of a small mark inside the T of Post. It is not clear whether or not this is constant, though it may be listed in Hans Reiche's book on these issues. Although minor, any variety on these issues is significant, due to how few of them there are.

Unitrade values this at $9, based on 50% of the value of a fine NH pair with no premium added for the plate viariety, though there should be a small premium for it. The pair offered here grades 60 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 30/70

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10
