A FNH single of the $2 dark purple Queen Victoria from the 1897 Diamond Jubilee Issue with superb color. The colour on this stamp is notorious for being unstable and susceptible to fading. This is one of the nicer examples I have handled, with strong, true original colour.
Has a fingerprint on the gum, so we have valued it as hinged.
