Lot 514 Canada #341, 341i 5c Bright Blue Queen Elizabeth II, 1954-1962 Wilding Issue, 76 Fine & VF Used Singles, 2 Blocks of 6, Block of 4 & Pair, With SON Dated CDS Town/RPO Cancels & In-Period

76 fine & VF used singles, 2 blocks of 6, block of 4 & pair of the 5c bright blue Queen Elizabeth II from the 1954-1962 Wilding Issue. With SON dated CDS town/RPO cancels & in-period. All different towns. Mostly Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan. One stamp with a crease, but otherwise all fine to VF.

Unitrade values most used stamps at 20c each for this period. However the full strikes of CDS cancels should be worth a premium, especially for socked-on-the-nose, as the vasy majority of stamps from this time were cancelled with wavy lines. Consequently we estimate the value at $25. The stamps offered here grade 70-84 as follows:

Centering/Margins: 30/60, 35/60, 40/60, 44/60

Paper Freshness: 5/5

Colour: 5/5

Impression: 5/5

Absence of Visible Paper Flaws: 5/5

Perforations: 10/10
